From the Whitechapel Film Programme

Thu 9 March, 7pm
New Work UK - The Chemical Effect
Film Programme

At only 118years, film remains a comparatively young means of creating images. Technology has side-stepped its photo-chemical foundations and organised the irregularity of its grain. This programme presents recent artists’ work in which film upholds and advances its material qualities; experiments with optical printing, home processing, photo-chemical effects, lab experimentation and more. Featuring films by Karen Mirza and Brad Butler, Ben Rivers and Oliver Bancroft.

Curated by William Rose.
In collaboration with LUX

£5.50/3.50 concs & Whitechapel members.
Free for Whitechapel Associates and Patrons.

If you are interested in super 8 and 16mm you should book tickets for this screening.
